 Simon Westcott is the company's Contracts Manager. He is responsible for the timely and efficient execution of all commercial contracts undertaken within the company; work which requires him to liaise closely with all stakeholders in the construction process from the client right through to the men on the shop floor. As Contracts Manager he is often the first point of contact for clients interested in working with the company and he clearly relishes this role since he enjoys the satisfaction that comes from meeting the needs of the company's clients.
The job of Contracts Manager involves not only the project management of individual contracts but also the coordination of all ongoing contracts to ensure that they are carried out in an efficient and effective manner. Managing projects and making them a physical reality, often from a start point of a single creative idea on a piece of paper, is extremely satisfying and one of the principle reasons why he enjoys his work as an engineer so much.
